Homeopathy
Homeopathic Medicine is a whole medical system which originated in Germany more than 200 years ago. It has been practiced in the United States since the 19th century. The theory and practice has evolved over time in a variety of cultures. Homeopathy seeks to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself by giving very small doses of highly diluted substances. Homeopathy can be used to treat both Chronic and Acute conditions.

What does treatment involve?
Prior to your first appointment you will be asked to complete our Homeopathy Intake Form (LINK).  During your initial consultation you will discuss with your practitioner your past illnesses, surgeries, as well as any emotional or physical difficulties you have been experiencing. There will be a detailed discussion of the current main concern which has brought you in for treatment. From this, your homeopath will be able to build a detailed and personal picture of the possible causes, course and personality of your ailment and will subsequently determine the remedy and dosage.

You will then be advised as to how to take the remedy, ie dosage, frequency, etc. Follow up will be scheduled and can be done in person or via the phone at times. It is important to keep notes on how you are feeling after taking the remedies to ensure you have good details to discuss with your practitioner. Often patients will notice dramatic results quickly, while others report changes that are more subtle which evolve over time. Dosage and remedy selections may change over your course of treatment to match your specific and evolving needs.

Typically a first appointment for Chronic conditions last 60-90 minutes. Follow ups are scheduled for 15-30 minutes. Acute conditions typically run 30 minutes for the first appointment.

As the remedy works with your system’s natural health processes you may find it releases blockages and energy increases, that old symptoms return which may then resolve themselves. As your system becomes more balanced symptoms and complaints may be less frequent or less severe, or resolve more quickly. Alternatively as healing progresses symptoms may change from the more distressing nature or location to those less uncomfortable ones. This healing process, known as ‘direction of cure’ is a phenomenon frequently seen in homeopathy and an excellent sign that cure is taking place.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture can be an effective technique to take years off your appearance. The technique is a non-invasive alternative to looking and feeling younger. The treatment requires using many small needles on the face as well as a few on the body. Facial rejuvenation treatments include treating your overall body and constitution via acupuncture. The entire body is brought back to balance, making the system work at its optimum, while the face is being tonified.

A single course of treatment for the face is generally 10-12 sessions with follow-up treatments applied seasonally. Appointments are typically 90 minutes. Call 561-338-1771 for pricing and scheduling information.
